Rumors Detail Sony Xperia SP
We first caught wind of Sony’s Xperia SP earlier this month, and only had a few specs at the time, like it running a Snapdragon S4. As we get closer to the Mobile World Congress, where there’s a good chance Sony will announce the phone, a bunch of new rumored details on the SP are arriving.
According to what we’ve heard, the SP runs a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro at 1.7GHz, with the Adreno 320 that goes with it. Supposedly, the SP will feature a construction using aluminum all around its edges, with a plastic back and transparent, customizable notification bar at the bottom.
The SP should have a 4.6-inch 720p display, an eight-megapixel Exmor RS camera, and 8GB of internal flash with microSD expansion available. The handset is said to be a hair under a centimeter thick and weigh 155 grams; no word on battery capacity for the moment.
