Snoop Dogg showed support for Aaron Hernandez in an Instagram shout-out Thursday.
The posting shows the rapper with the former New England Patriots tight end in an undated photo (see below) with the words, "Keep ya head up !! We prayn 4 ya."
With Hernandez having been charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of 27-year-old semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd, Snoop's statement could be interpreted in all kinds of ways -- and was by passionate commenters.
As philly.com noted, the rapper, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, once faced murder charges of his own before being acquitted along with a body guard in the 1993 shooting of an L.A. gang member.
